Hard Asset

A hard asset is a tangible resource with economic value that can be used in the production of goods or services, or in the generation of income. Hard assets are typically physical in nature, and include land, buildings, infrastructure, and natural resources. In contrast, soft assets are intangible and lack a physical form, such as intellectual property or skilled employees.
